After calling the Washington DC area its home for nearly four decades Sallie Mae is uprooting its Reston VA headquarters and moving to Delaware.

Almost two years ago Nason Construction of Wilmington DE contacted MSS about this renovation project seeking design assist for the metal panel cladding and ornamental features. After consulting on the design with Boggs & Partners of Annapolis MD and several rounds of budgeting we secured the Contract with Nason Construction to complete the metal panel work for the building’s exterior renovation.

The scope of work includes Arcwall 1500 Aluminum plate wall cladding, accent bands, stair tower cladding, entry façade, vestibules and custom extruded aluminum vertical fins intersecting the horizontal sight lines.

Construction on site has commenced and we expect to be substantially complete in the fourth quarter of 2012.
