University of the Sciences

This project featured classroom and auditorium spaces for the University of the Sciences. Product features include four "chimney" vent stack enclosures which were factory constructed for hoisting due to the difficult access issues of the steep pitched roof. Units were approx 10ft x 20 ft and 16 ft high at their peak and were hinged in halves to allow for the low clearance of nearby trolley lines. Pictures feature the sequence of final assembly, hoisting and placement on the prepared openings. Other project features include a radiused fascia & soffit combination at the main Rotunda, numerous curtainwall spandrel and column cover features and roof edge cornices to beautifully complement the colonial style brick, slate roof and lead coated copper materials.
